Once again, a good time was had by all at our Holiday Brunch at Dee-Ann’s Tea Room Cafe! With several folks out of town there were only 18 of us, but that didn’t change the good time. Dee and helpers had prepared a sumptuous meal for us – all the good things we’ve come to expect, like bacon, ham, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy to go alongside. And the yummy cinnamon rolls!
Music helped set the mood with several skillful Christmas musical selections, with Shannon playing flute and Bill on the keyboard. Later, our fearsome trio, Dick Keusink, Tim Hartzell and Rudd Howell with his guitar, led us in singing some holiday songs.
The Scrooge gift exchange was a highlight as always. A few brave souls stole gifts, but everybody went home happy! Many thanks to Kate Davies for organizing the exchange.
