VOA Radiogram Transmits Image of PBARC Members Around the World

VOA Radiogram

On June 28, 2015, VOA Radiogram (Voice of America’s digital broadcast) sent four transmissions which included an image of Ron K7IOW and Butch KG7LIK erecting a vertical HF antenna in the field. The image was used to represent Amateurs worldwide participating in the annual ARRL Field Day.

Below is a .pdf file of images Amateur Ops and Shortwave Listeners (SWLs) copied of Ron and Butch from around the world. (Click on the ‘Pop Out’ icon in the upper right corner to view full screen.)

Local Ops Doug K7KY and Mindy W7ZAP each copied two transmissions using FLDIGI software to decode the MFSK32 images. Their antennas are oriented 90 degrees apart and you can see the difference in their reception of the same transmissions.
